Today, in the era of Big Data, characterized by 4 V’s (volume, velocity, variety, and veracity), we have large volume datasets generated by many applications (Enterprise applications, social applications, Healthcare, E-commerce, sensor data, and devices like mobile, laptop, camera, etc.) The exponential growth of the volume of data generated by users, systems, and sensors is increasing the interdependency and complexity of data these days.
But with the explosion of data all around, we observe the commonness of relationships between entities within that data, which is highly related and unstructured, i.e. not schema-bound. The ability to apply and analyze this data has always been an integral part of organizational success. Analyzing these large-volume datasets can reveal insights hidden within them, and can reveal links and connections between data, and discover and manage new and useful relationships. New ways of linking datasets have played a large role in generating new insights.
